The Bull, 4 Devonshire Street, Aldgate

The original Bull Inn dated from at least 1631 and was rebuilt in much more modest circumstances in the late-Victorian era as it exists today. I don't have an exact date for the rebuild, but I think we can be confident that Alfred Savage and T Hessin at least were incumbents at the old Bull Inn. At 18 Devonshire Street in 1869 **
