Previously the Dog and Gun

1823 - Estates of Richard Baker esq, Essex derived by him from Richard Baker & Elizabeth Baker, both deceased.  Robert Dixon and John Carter now Crabbe, who got it by purchase, occupied by William Bayden. The George Public House (late Dog and Gun) on 1 March 1808 for 31 years at £10 10shillings per annum. ***
