Angel, Cate's Corner, Saffron Walden

By 1832 the Angel was to be rebuilt as William Wisemans drapery & grocery shop; and latterly Barclays Bank by 1896. The property was purchased around 1874 by the Gibsons family, along with the Rose & Crown. Previously, the Angel Inn was known as The Horns.
